Receive this morning this pewter figures
img-160128yvvbv.jpg
approximatively same size of W.Britain napoleonics , from French manufacturer http://alliagedequalite.com/

They're terrific value, only 9/11€ by figure ( without shipping) , nicely painted, just remain to improve some details of completion (example: the horn of the French voltigeur don't have the interior hollowed ) but the collection is exhaustive, there is even the Portuguese infantry!

Some others nice figures, Portuguese and Prussians this time:

Got a few of them too, Prussians and Voltigeurs, very nice figures, a company to follow.

Thanks for sharing these, General!

They remind me a little of Ron Wall's figures, in the style of the sculpting. They're well-executed. My only complaint would be that the bases a little thick, kind of like the bases Russell Gammage used on his Rose line of figures. Almost a small or low pedestal. I prefer a thinner base (even for horses, Cardigan! :) )

But the sculpting is clean and the painting is nicely done.

Prost!

They look quite nice and well worth investigating. Boy GC you have been on a tear with new figure sources recently.;):D

Yes they're gloss but just a little; less than the glossy W.Britain, for example.
