I popped to Magpie (Evesham) the other day and saw details of a new WB matte 95th Rifles set.

The details were (sketchy as I tried to engrain them to memory):

2 figures, 1 wearing forage cap (uggh) both in a non firing pose(?).

Limited to 300 world wide, about £50-£60 I think.

Available for pre-order from Magpie at the minute (Pre-ordered mine already!).

Details to follow in the next issue of the Standard.

Sorry didnt have a camera for pictures! I hope this is not old news, I have not seen any other info anywhere. Apart from the forage cap, which I wasn't keen on, they looked fantastic and will go side by side with the CC officer. Hope more figures to follow (nudge nudge Ken!). :p

50 to 60 pounds for two figures; that works out to 80.00 to 95.00 US for the set, 40.00 to 48.00 per figure is what you pay in the Uk?

Wow.

Not heard of this perhaps it is an exclusive for that chain, like the Zulu stuff for ModelZone. Pricing sounds about right though for the type of set it is. My Zulu set was £49.95

I love the theme and would love to see Britains take it up more seriously. At £50-£60, they would have to elevate their game quite a bit unless they are planning on making these like their new limited editions. I must say they would certainly need more than two non-action figures in "forage caps".
