Picked up a few DVD's yesterday. One of them "Uprising" depicts the Warsaw Jewish uprising in 1943 (not the Home Army uprising). Riveting stuff.
Also, "Von Richthoven and Brown". Not what you would call classic cinema, but some very good air to air combat scenes and no CGI, unlike the excreable "Flyboys". As far as I could tell they were real WW1 aircraft and not models.
Gonna watch "The Fallen" next. Haven't a clue what its about cos the blurb is all in Chinese, but the picture on the cover suggests its a WW2 movie - maybe, cos you never know what you're buying over here.
