Awesome brochure as usual. Aren't we due for a new Collector, too?

The resolution of those pics are low, can't read the small prints clearly.

I can vaguely see the reference of the cover painting of 17th Dragoon is from Lucien Rousselot, am I correct? I think he has the best illustrations.

I have his book on Elite Cavalry (only on the Imperial Guards) and it's translated into English.

I am not aware of other books/sources of his drawings on regular Napoleonic Line Cavalry/Infantry...

Can anybody help me?

Great Brochure !

The EMPEREUR IS PLEASED !

Hmmm ..

Dragoons, lancers and Cuirassiers ... perhaps that's too many French cavalry :( .. let's have some new allied cavalry, Russian cuirassiers & cossacks maybe, done like the new Confederate troopers :)

Something for the French to chew on ... :D

What is a European 19th century war without the Prussians?

Those Napoleonic troops look so pretty in all their bright colours, I hope they don't get any blood or mud on their uniforms! :D Great brochures and even better pieces, I'll have to pick up a few.

And not to forget the German Kingdoms of Bavaria, Westphalia and Wurttemberg :D:D:D ! Hundred thousands of German soldiers died for and against Napoleon.
And what about Austrian Troopers ? Austria was not less than an an Empire !
Come on Andy and Patrick, we eagerly wait for all these soldiers !

regards from Germany Marcus

Sirs,

and some Dutch/Belgian militia please. After that more French, maybe some Hussars, Parading and charching? There are many regiments to choose from. Would add make a great scene with a British carré.

If I may politely disagree ... K&C has released many cavalry figures and these have substantially been in parading and charging poses. For that reason, I find the new "mounting up" Confederated cavalry refreshing and extremely attractive to acquire.

So I am looking forward to K&C doing its future Napoleonic cavalry ( and yes, there are quite many units to choose from) in slightly different poses. perhaps with more ready to mount up, grooming & feeding ( I tink the French Cuirassier with the saddle, badly needs
a horse) patrolling & scouting, dismounted & leading horse, flanking at a fast gallop.

If for instance, a mounted figure is stationary .. then, there should be a number of complementary stationary pieces .. to create a realistic looking dio :).

What do fans of cavalry figures tink :) :)?

Old Dragon,

Please do not misunderstand my reply. I do like different poses, such like the drinking cavalry, see the picture enclosed. I will greet with great pleasure more of them, maybe even an encampment scene. But I do like marching soldiers foot and horse which i can include in my diorama.

Richard

No problems .. when I look at the Cuirassier with the saddle, my hands get tired for him. :p

He badly needs a horse ... now come to think of it, so do all the drinking cavalrymen.

Nice picture & lovely dio, especially like the background buildings. Thank you for sharing.
