Just got my first set of the new Napoleonics today and was very pleased. No problem with the paint being dull as in a previous post. Does anybody know if the wall sections coming out this year will go with the North Gate set Britains came out with a few years ago? Or is it another version of the same thing? Hopefully Britains won't abandon Napoleonics like they did in the past.

The new wall sets are based on more accurate information. The earlier set was based on a Victorian painting that showed the North gate area as it would have appeared several years after the 1815 campaign. You could use the new Well/Dovecote and the garden walls with your old set however.
There are 27 sculpts shown in the catalog that were designed to create the struggle to defend the Hougoumont compound. There are an additional 30 sculpts already finished to flesh out the selection including basic infantry and other services. These will be released later this year and will be followed by more services and other nations at a later date.
We plan on sticking to Napoleon's return and the 100 days at this time to give the collector a good cross section of the participants involved.

Paintwise that is much better than the earlier releases. Nice choice
