Missing in action mid Sept?, looking forward to getting this captured jeep, maybe Andy was inspired by this war time photo. Robin.

My Market Garden and Australian Light Horse will be last I ever sell from my collection. The book I cannot recommend highly enough. It ranks as my all time favourite war book. Operation Market-Garden then and now, is two volumes edited by Karel Margry, 325 pages each volume cramped with photos every page, with the majority showing the scene exactly as it 40 years on. Some 2,300 photos well captioned. A great read, but not heavy going as the pictures break up the text and you get a real feel of what was going on at the time. I love looking at a house for instance that has not changed in 40 years, still the same bent down pipe, but the Tiger tank no longer standing outside. You would not be disappointed with the two set books, but expect to pay a few hundred as they are not cheap. Robin.
