In case you haven't visited the Sager's Toy Soldiers website recently, I noticed several newly posted classic K&C brochures, in years 1988, 1994 and 1995, as well as some new photos of retired items from the recent New York Symposium. Bill told me more would be up soon. I hadn't seen some of the brochures before, including some shots of (1) very early production glossy warbirds and pilots, including the only photo I've ever seen of the Kamikaze Pilot, (2) many of the early marching and camel corps figures. Thanks again Bill for setting up the best on line archive for K&C collectors.
 
OK Guys and Gals,

The show has begun.

I have just posted 37 warbirds in the 4 different categories on my website. These were all taken at Louis's house and he owns all but 1 I believe. I will be posting a few more hopefully by tomorrow.

I have posted pictures of all the vehicles in the TK series. I still have 2 more to add, which I should finish by tomorrow.

I have also posted some one-offs that Louis owns under the following item numbers. IWJ11W in the iwo Jima section, RA04W in the stalingrad section. These 2 vehicles were custome made for Tony Chicarillo, I hope I spelled it correctly, and there were only 10 of each made. AK09 in the Afrika Korps section. IWJ11AK in the Afrika Korps section, this is also a one-off made for Louis. WS26AK also in the AK section and also a one-off for Louis. VN09, set number for reference only I have to get the correct number. VN04 and VN05 in the Vietnam series. SAS03 the chevy truck in the Long Range desert group section. M4 and M4A in the same section as the TK items of the 2 Shermans in US markings and British.

I hope this wets everyones appetite. I will also be posting several pictures from the symposium that show a lot of other sets Louis has for variety.

I will also be posting more set numbers in their approproiate section but without images for now. Example: Seaforths and Zulus just for an idea.

Thanks for a great web site, Bill. I'm constantly visiting your site to look up set numbers people mention here on the forum and have no idea what they're talking about. It's like going to the King and Country National Historical Library.:D

Ok, I have posted a lot more pictures for you all.

There are 90 pictures from the symposium listed. I will add descriptions later. I have also put images under the private Collections are which covers some of Larry Lo's collection. I have also added a section called Connoisseur Edition which shows Larry's 8 mint sets that are extremely rare. Andy stated that this was the best collection of these he has seen in the world! I have also added under Specialty sets a picture of the SGT. Peppers Band owned by Louis. There is also a section under WWII that covers the RAF vehicles.

I still have more to go but that will be a little later. I will post some very special one-offs that Andy used as preproduction samples that did not make it to production. These are very interesting.

I just wanted to say thanks for the service your website gives in chronicling the entire King and Country collection. I can't tell you have many times I referred to it weekly.

Just wanted to let you all know that I have posted some Proto Types on the site. They are under the heading Proto Types. I have also listed the Spitfires under Warbirds RAFA06 and RAFA07. I have also posted a couple new ME109's under WB02. There is also images of the original Panther, Sherman and Tiger tanks under the WWII section then under Special Order Sets at the end sets number WSS5. You can see how far Andy has come since this time.

showroom!

Each dealer has his own unique Harley Tee Shirt with his graphic and

location on the back. Ok some of you guys say so what? I understand, but

once you take a ride on a Harley sitting on 100 Horse Power it takes over.

I have so many Harley Davidson Tee's that even my wife can't lose them

as fast as I can pick up a new one!

Guys,

Check out the newly posted prototypes (under King & Country, World War II, Prototypes). All are resin and metal, except the Land Rover (metal) and the Maus (polystone). You can see the Bedford Troop Transport Lorry (2 versions, 8th Army and Northwest Europe), the Bedford QL Radio Command Truck (there is a minor mistake: two were made, not one, the second was 8th Army), the Austin Tilly (there were 3 made, 1 RAF, 1 Dunkirk, and 1 8th Army), an Iraq/Afganistan SAS Land Rover, and an early polystone prototype of a Maus heavy tank made by a company as a sample for Andy when he was first exploring the possibilities of polystone.

The prototypes look really nice. They look as good as the new stuff. We could use some more softskin vehicles for the allies.
