Anyone check out plasticunderground lately? Eight new Alamo figures, 4 defenders and 4 Mexicans in 60mm, including a scalling the ladder pose. Definetly worth a look for you Alamo fanatics.

How do those figures compare to Contes, they look a little crude to me.

Different types of plastic, these are a resin plastic, really hard to compare the two, I wouldn't call them crude.

The height and thickness of the figures are virtually the same.

I've been tempted to pick up a couple of their grenadiers to mix with my own but my Paypal has been drained into RTV so I'm flat broke. If they look different I'm fine with it as I prefer a varied group of humanity rather than the cloned look. I think by crude he may mean that some of the poses are are elementary in their execution but in terms of skill level it is obvious that the artist has talents. Has anyone else ordered from here- what is the turn around time?

An additional defender and four new Mexicans have been created, however they are not posted on his site yet, I spotted them on e-bay under seller vikingpope.

I'm still looking to get his Jacobites and Redcoats but my Paypal all went into RTV and groceries. Does anyone else know of other pics of the figures? I'd be interested in seeing an unpainted pic.
