Today the US President announced new policies and sanctions for Hong Kong and China in light of the Chinese Government crackdown
on HK's independence and freedoms.

I am curious what ramifications if any this will have for our hobby. Perhaps some of our members and makers from HK and China can enlighten us.

Of course the safety and freedoms of the Hong Kong citizens are paramount in any actions the world takes against China.
I think we all put the HK people before our hobby. Perhaps the makers have contingency plans if these actions impede their businesses
or they cannot remain comfortable in their current location.

Until the USA is more specific about the change in policy it is hard to tell what it means. However a few brands, including Team Miniatures and FL, already operate out of the China mainland and I am not aware of any issues getting their product to dealers in USA.

Can't speak for any of the brands but Andy did comment about his own thoughts in another similar thread last week.
