I just won the auction on ebay for 1982 Britains set consisting of 3 Life Guards and 3 Horse Guards standing dismounted and in the original box. I got them for $16 which seems like a great deal but time will tell. The last set that I bought on ebay was 11 Welsh Guards in the box. It was a set of twelve with one missing. It was a good price but I have since found that several of the Welsh Guards probably aren't, they seem to be Scots Guards. Oh well, the group looks great.

I am finding E Bay a great source for buying figures. Just received my latest purchase a mint box of Premier Britains WW1 German stormtroopers for 35 Euro which included postage to Ireland from the UK, about 25 pounds or so. They are an absolute bargain at that price. Its pays to have patience and not to jump in to make a purchase {sm4}at any price. I am going to set aside around about 100 euros a month and add to my collection. Just love glossies and i am starting to put together quite a nice collection. Also i can recommend Tommy Atkins figures they are superb and the Turner family are a pleasure to deal with. Finished my S.O.W boxer rebellion collection so i have decided to concentrate on WW1 glossies which i have decided are my favourite

Have you looked at the WWI glossies from Hiriart and Beau Geste? I can highly recommend both brands.
Here are examples of each from my collection of WWI in Africa

Thanks for postings photos of these figures. They are really nice, especially the BTS figures. I have been lucky enough to have seen them at a few of the London shows. Cant make saturdays show but i hope to go to the june show and they are on the list. Some of the K&C buildings will fit in nicely as well when my budget allows. Regards Peter{sm4}
