We have a new range in the offing. The range will cover The Easter Rising, 1916, that happened in Dublin and other parts of Ireland.

Here are two figures we did to start off:

An Irish Republican Brethren officer, and a 'Black and Tan' Auxiliary.

The range compliments Heritage Miniatures Great War Range, and British Infantry are already available form them:

A really 'outside the box' new range, that is very interesting, and one that hasn't really been covered by anyone else. Nice. Must point out, though, that the Black and Tans (Royal Irish Constabulary Special Reserve) was formed in 1919 during the Irish War for Independence. They didn't exist during the Rising. Still, the B&T figures will be very useful for the later conflict. Just glad to see someone cover the period of 1916 to 1922. -- Al

You are of course right. The full range title should be The Easter Rising and its aftermath, as arguably the 'Irish Question' went on until the end of the troubles in very recent times. I grew up in Belfast and remember those times.

Strictly speaking the Auxiliaries were a product of the Easter Rising and its following actions, but we wanted to cover this unit as it has such a reputation within this overall piece of history.

Thanks for your comments.

We intend to release a range covering The Troubles in Northern Ireland, probably only the security forces, as both Martin and I know the kit inside out as we both wore it(a long time ago!).

Me, also not in IS Kit! (about a 100years ago, it seems)

Faugh-a-ballagh!
