It's been said the new series will cover the American Revolution as it was fought in up state New York. This will include the Saratoga Campaign of 1777.
Personally I think there is great potential for this series, since there was a great variety of troops/uniforms involved in the campaign. This would include
soldiers from Hesse and Brunswick (like the one below). - Looks promising.....We'll have to see where John takes it.

I'm really looking forward to John's new American War of Independence series! Hopefully, more details will be shed in the coming months.

This proposed series with the battle of Saratoga would be enthusiastically collected by myself and I hope many others.
Morgan's Rifles, Hessians, British regulars, Native Americans, camp followers, American militias and a host of scenic accessories.....wagons, artillery, British defenses, lots of trees......

And, there is a bounty of interesting books on the battles and campaign, making it easy to expand ones interest in the period. - Always something I look for when deciding to collect a new series.

The Jadgpanther needs a commander!{eek3}

The Jagdpanther may need a CO but that's not as essential as a fighter plane needing a pilot.:wink2: We still need Frank Luke, Lanoe Hawker, and Reed Chambers. My planes demand their pilots.^&grin -- Al
