New Release: Patton Command Car WC57

TCS is pleased to release our fully licensed Patton Dodge WC57 Command car. This was by far Patton’s favorite command car. State of the art at the time the WC57 could handle almost any terrain. Our set comes with Patton and his dog Willy. Patton has a removable base so he can be used in the stand alone position as well. In addition the driver is removable. This is a limited edition issue so get your order in asap. MSRP for this little gem is $165.90 ( CS00914 ).

Our October catalog is pretty extensive with a myriad of offerings. Stay tuned for more release intel in the days ahead!
Cheers!

Brian

Great Dodge WC57. Like it a lot..!!, Problem is i never did like Patton, far to gung-ho for my liking and there were far better generals in Europe, take Bradley for instance. with much more regard for his men and not a fame seeking Prima donna as Patton was.
OK my question is how easy would it be to turn this Patton command car into an ordinary WC57..officers runabout ...I have reasonable modelling skills. Also would i be able to use the car with KC figures?? I have your Pershing and it works great with KC tank riders......Thanks

Like the idea of the removable base on Patton along with the removable driver figure. Nice looking set !

After WWII German Generals were asked for their opinion as to who was the best Allied General. The majority selected Patton as the best. The forward thinking Patton saved Bradley's posterior and Eisenhowers reputation at the Battle of the Bulge! Patton was a fighting General not interested in winning popularity contests. Third Army had a low casualty rate when compared with similar units in combat. Love him or hate him; George Patton was the best armor commander of the war!

Guess we both read different books friend..!!. But no problem we are all entitled to our own views.

Love this vehicle...but CS models and figures tend to be slightly bigger. I wonder if this is same size as the KC's WC50 ambulance recently released.

I agree the removable base for figures is a great innovation by TCS. I wonder why Patton and the vehicle portray him as a four star General; he was not promoted to four stars until April 1945.
Aidman; My comments are cited in Wikipedia and several Biographys of George S. Patton. Patton was a contoversal individual in many ways; but he was the most effective armor commander of WWII. Whermacht Field Marshal Rudolf Gerd Von Rundstedt ( Patton, he was your best)! He was considered to be the Allied Guderian! Erwin Rommel highly respected Patton. The respect of ones enemies is a greater plaudit than that of ones friends!

... should we assume that the driver is PVT Horace Woodring? No stripes visible and skin tone doesn't match SGT Meeks, Patton's longtime enlisted aide.

Does anyone in the forum have this model and the KC WC51 Dodge Weapons Carrier (Winter Ambulance)? Would like to see a side by side comparison. I know for a fact that CS tends to be bigger in size compare to KC or TG.

Thanks
