NEW RELEASE: Polish Lancer Reinforcements!

TCS Napoleonics have brought color and action to displays worldwide for years now. Since our first collection of Lancers sold out some time ago we’ve heard nothing but grumblings from all of those living room Generals and Marshalls decrying the lack of reinforcements available. Well that has been remedied!

TCS presents six choice Polish Lancers ready to take to the field. These pieces are exact in paint as the first but now incorporate all the new sculpting and details that make our current pieces so popular. These are as limited as the first edition so we expect they won’t last forever, so get’em while you can.

Expect these and more releases to come as we continue to roll out our end of May catalog editions.

CS00687 Polish Lancer Officer $74.90
CS00688 Polish Lancer Flagbearer $74.90
CS00689 Polish Lancer Charging $74.90
CS00690 Polish Lancer Attacking $74.90
CS00691 Polish Lancer Posting $74.90
CS00692 Polish Lancer Canting $74.90

Tally Hooo!

I have a few from the first batch and really like them. I think they are very well done and were certainly popular.

They are very nice and dynamic, and the price is very nice too....

A winning week for Collector's Showcase.{bravo}}

Very very nice.
I have all the first release (except the guy with the carbine) so they will look great together attacking the alllied squares.
I also would like to see some red lancers in similar poses.

I also have all of the First releases except the one firing a carbine on horseback

Though I am excited with reinforcements, I am disappointed that there is still NO BUGLER!

On a side note, I spoke with K&C's Gordon and he claims that they would rather produce the Dutch lancers coz "everyone out there" has already made the Polish lancers. I wonder why their dutch lancers retired so quickly, due to poor sales?

CS has more wrinkles on their uniforms for realism, but seems a bit overdone for me.
Also, the paint job is too dull, perhaps too much weathering/dry brushing on the wrinkles?

My wife once saw my display cabinet and asked me why I bought these "ugly" figures from CS. She prefers the vibrant color scheme.

I think Thomas Gunn is humble and smart to produce figures that look more compatible when displayed with K&C.

But for me, John Jenkins is still the best for value.
