New Release: Roman Chariot!​

While the Roman auxiliaries were known to have used chariots the Romans themselves used them mostly for ceremonial purposes. Our new Chariot serves both. As well attired auxiliaries we can imagine poor Celts fleeing at the sight of a powerful charioteer complete with Pillum thrower in the rear. As a single charioteer we can set ourselves in Rome itself.

TCS has waited till 2016 to start adding volumes of Roman sets back into the line. In fact every release this year will have a new set added. This release is meant to be included in our January catalog. The Pillum Thrower in the rear can be had separately. This is a limited edition set and will no doubt be quite popular as it is the first of its kind for the industry.

As you may know, there were structural problems with the chariot made by K & C, principally with the axle connecting the wheels. I hope you have done all you can to minimize the possibility of damage.

The pilum thrower is a must for my dio - great to hear he is available by himself. I'll think about the chariot and see if it'll work with what I'm doing. I'm thrilled to hear that there are going to be more regular releases on this range!

My wish list - another Celtic chariot, Celtic warriors with hexagonal shields, Roman archers.
