THE FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR AND 18th CENTURY

THE RAID ON ST. FRANCIS

As the French and Indian War wages on, the fundamental values of a father son bond remain the same. As we see in a fathers first lesson to teach his eldest son how to fire a musket.
Two younger brothers look on!

those are some nice Indians for a peaceful Abenaki village scene...thanks John...

WOW ... peaceful Indians .... John must have heard me .... Thank you .... Thank you .... Thank you. {sm4}
I am in for the Indians!!! --- Larry

I'm seeing lots of changes here in the new format of introducing JJD releases...

I noticed that no price is shown...that it says to contact the dealer...

I wish you would include the price if possible...

I also noticed that the Indians are a limited edition...I like this...I think it's a good move...

thirdly...I noticed several threads announcing JJD releases...

not sure if this was by design by the new promotional company...but I much prefer all of the monthly releases in one thread...it's so much easier to keep track of...

just suggestions...

overall...you're doing an excellent job and I appreciate your efforts...

Agree on the limited editions. Nice to see that being done again.

Those are two beautiful sets.
Great for a village scene.
Thanks much, John {bravo}}

I'll second, or third that.
As I mentioned in a previous thread I really missed that little extra bit of excitement in getting something that is somewhat unique.
Very glad to see John is reviving this again.

I wonder it that also means we will see the "Number nnn of 500" card? ^&confuse

Now, since we know that John is up for more non-combat sets within his Raid of St. Francis line, may I suggest a group like in the attached picture sometime in the future.

Shown is a painting by Robert Griffing, called "Leaving".

Hey Konrad ... wouldn't that be great if we could get sets that represented great works of art. Imagine a JJD Indian Diorama that shadows the Robert Griffing painting you have. That would be special. {sm4}

The Prussian officer looks terrific!
I hope this series has legs and expands to other battles and combatants.
Officers (mounted as well), drummers and flag bearers are needed.....in addition a few personality figures would be appreciated.

The Indian children absolutely joining my Indian village. Most welcome addition

Glad to see that the Prussian Officer has finally emerged from the factory....

Now we can complete the wonderful diorama of the Battle of Leuthen,

Thanks John, you have done really well,

Obee
