Yo Troopers, bought this today could not resist it being ex QOH as we all know by now lol. It is a Chas Stadden model but put out under the Trade name of Buckingham pewter which was another outlet of Chas Stadden. They were usually just polished pewter & Hallmarked as gifts. As you can see somebody as the Irish say made a right Haymes of it, so it will have to be stripped, come to think of it never stripped a soldier before lol:D (honest). I have the original studio model of this it was called the 3rd kings Light Dragoons later the QOH. But what they have done is put this model on a different base with the QOH badge on the front and the Crest on the rear, hence I had to go for it. So hoping Jeff will volunteer to do his finest work so far and in MATT paint;). Showed photo of front & back Plus the original Studio model & how they were sold as pewter gifts. Bit stuck on what colour plume to go for Blue 3rd Kings or Red 7th Hussars NEED help here trooper, Being titled the QOH in hussar uniform:confused:
Bernard.

Bernard, I tell you it will look fine in GLOSS GREEN! :D

Jeff

Bernard, figure can only be painted as 3rd Light dragoons. This uniform was never worn by the 7th. Light dragoons had five rows of braid, hussars had six. The 7th were converted to hussars in 1805 and so would be wearing the six braided uniform at this period.

Bernard,
Trooper is the expert
Looks like you ae going to have a 3rd light dragoon which became a 3rd Hussar which became Queens Own and probably by now have all been made redundant:confused::confused:
