This wasn’t listed in TGM’s September Warbirds update; however, they have also just released a Lockheed F-80/P-80 Shooting Star Model (WOW410). I found out about this a few weeks ago when messaging with Tom and since the bulk of my TGM aircraft collection consists of early and concept jets, the F-80/P-80 (the first operational US jet) was a must-have. Long story short, the model arrived yesterday and it is a beauty 😎

The model depicts an F-80C from the USAF’s 8th Fighter-Bomber group stationed at Suwon Airfield in South Korea c. 1950 during the Korean War. While the figures are from TGM’s WWII collection, they look the part. The Marsden matting is an old Build-a-Rama cardboard product, with a couple sections cut to fit the frame.
