Hello ,
I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself . I hate to say it but I'm addicted to First Legion's Napoleonic series . It started a not so long time ago when I attended a show . I noticed several Bavarian Figures on a dealers table and inquired about the manufacture . I had never heard of First Legion so I only bought two , I have never looked back . although the Bavarians are Great I must say that with each new release they keep on improving. I feel like a young kid again and I'm in my 30's . I enjoy all the info I find out on this site and would like to thank you all ( I found it on a search for FL ) . Hey who knows I may even have something to contribute. I have been a collector all my life it started as a child with having uncles and great uncles from WW II with them telling stories and giving me personal items and things they brought back. Well have a Great Evening

Hey Gebhard welcome aboard! I have yet to collect any First Legion pieces since I'm primarily a WWII guy with a little ACW and AWI thrown in. I plan on attending the Chicago show where I'll probably p/u some of First Legion WWII figures.

I am not surprised that FL got you "hands down" with their first releases.
The quality/price relation of this company is unmatched so far. Right now I am looking forward to receive their first issue of the mounted personalities "General Colbert".

Greetings, felicitations and a most hearty welcome Gebhard. It is particularly nice to welcome another First Legion affectionado here. I certainly understand and share your addiction. Have you seen the just announced FL Carabiniers? If you weren't addicted before, you would be now. Nice as well to see another Maryland chap; I grew up on the Eastern shore.

Hello and Thanks for the nice welcome and from such high rankers as a several Generals WOW ! I feel very welcome indeed ! Knowing the thousands of my dollars that I have already willingly exchanged ( for what I feel are quality FL products) and still only to rank only as a Private? Im not sure if I can afford to reach the rank of General : ) I'm very happy to have found a place to visit where people share my Hobbies of both Military Miniatures and of course my love of Military History . This is very exciting ! Buy reading several comments I can see there are some very well read members . Thanks again for the warm welcome !
