I've built an observation tower for my Trojan war diorama. I'm hoping to put Helen and Priam in it when they come along. Greg.

No enemy is going to breach that structure Greg, it’s way big. Makes for a great battle scene. Robin.

That's what I hoped to achieve Robin. Maybe they will use some other way like deception. Greg.

Will be an impressive display when the characters are placed in the tower. As it stands this is a great diorama. Well done.

Cheers,
Grey

Great looking diorama you're bringing together there Greg :salute:::salute:::salute::

I particularly like that you've gone for what the modern eye might think of as garish colour but to the ancients was the way they liked to show off. It certainly would of stood out for miles showing off the pride of the Trojan s in their fortress city :salute:::salute:::salute::

Maybe the yellow ochre colour has come up a bit brighter then hoped Steve. It isn't as bright in normal light. I will think about painting it again as this is the second go. Anyway i'm enjoying your dioramas especially your Vietnam productions. "Salute" as you would say. Greg.

We now have 3 LOD walls & 2 towers plus their Trojan Horsey. All very nice. We'll post when we open our figs.

Great work! I love the wall. It makes the scene. Love the range and you have a great collection.

Paddy

1'm looking forward to seeing your Trojan diorama Paddy. Also hoping to get a look at 1066 when you put it all together. I will be starting a Viking scene shortly with my excess figures that are not in dioramas already. I'm hoping JJD brings out Helen and Priam soon so I can complete a section of the Troy scene. Exciting times ahead for us to display our collections. Regards Greg.

Just as our 1066 diorama is a few figures short but should be put together shortly...
The Trojan Wars require even more figures.
Eccentrically, we open most or all of our figures at X-Mas.
2023 X-Mas was to be El Cid & Malta - "bookends to the Crusades".
2024 is Troy & Ancients... we may be too patient!
As far as Hastings, it will be pictured.

We still have a hoard of Mongol Wars to go after! Hope we live so long,
Best Wishes & we'll keep you slowly updated,
Pat & Pat

Looking good, now we just need a few figures!

Have no fear. We have 32 plus two chariots & crew and a few more coming. This won't be as full as a 1066 or Aztec range by us, but we will populate that scene!

More 1066 coming this year, we still have a few more figs to add.

Best Wishes
Pats

Just repainted the wall and tower for a much better colour. No pictures taken yet but the lone Trojan figure from the April releases will make an excellent addition for the tower. Started making my latest Viking diorama and it is well under way. Regards Greg.
