I have added a new forum in the Discussion area for the recently launched Toy Soldier TV. This is an exciting new website that will add to your hobby experience and complement the images and discussion found on the Treefrog Forum.
What IS Toy Soldier Television?
Here is an intro straight from the creative brains behind TSTV themselves (aka Bob and Tony Neville):
Toy Soldier Television will cover as many of the different aspects of the toy soldier world as possible, no part of the hobby will be left out. We will also try and cover as many of the collectors ‘wants’ as well. As well as being able to download and watch many different films you will also find Toy Soldier Television an essential part of the toy soldier hobby. From News and views to Manufactures feedback you will see it and hear it here first. As the old saying goes; ‘you heard it from the horse’s mouth’ well Toy Soldier Television will have as many horses’ mouths as possible. No second hand accounts or hearsay.
We have included some different and interesting channels for all to watch from up to date news from the manufactures to interviews with collectors and looks at their collections. One of the areas I think you will really enjoy is the Virtual tours and Directory. Ever wondered what a particular store was like? Wondered what a particular show was like? Then this particular channel will allow you to see for yourself before you commit in reality!
Think of it as You Tube for toy soldier collectors. They will bring you video footage of shows and shops and interviews with dealers, collectors and manufacturers alike, but you the collector can send in material too!
You can use the TSTV part of the Treefrog forum to give them feedback, make suggestions and discuss what you see there.
