I did some conversions on two of the Mexican poses and painted them as light infantry with Baker Rifles. Several modern reconstructions of the Cazadores show waist belts that are not on the castings. Between several modern pictures and photos of a reenactment group in Texas I came up with this version.

Nice job Scott! Great conversions and painting, These poses on the Mexicans are a bit on the funky looking side and seam in a weird off balance looking pose but have a lot of conversion options given that the arms are off the body any number of new arms and weapons can be added for a ton on conversion options.
I will at some point chop up a bunch of these and most likely turn them into Napoleonics. Getting back to the off balance look they have, that plays right into a nice conversion option of cutting them off the base and reattaching them in various falling wounded poses.

I might even try cutting the legs off and rework them into new postions when I get around to messing with these guys???? I only picked up one set and it might be awhile before I get around to messing with them but the conversion options in these figures is a big plus for buying multple sets!^&cool

Some really great conversions, again, Scott ! All these recent Mexicans, Texians etc has got me all fired up on the Alamo at the moment, I even decided to watch the film this afternoon !

Scott...I like the way you play. I love it when imagination, talent and follow through come together in a person. Keep up the good work.
Joe
