Ask nicely and yea will receive.^&grin, with so many FFL no wonder one of these is down, no doubt multiples will be sought of this figure. The painted versions will look good. Robin.

thanks for posting that Guy...
I didn't receive any news of that in an email...

well...that's good...3 is a start...

I hope they go after the Tauregs as hard as they went after the Legionnaires...

There are another 3 Tuareg sets to go with these 3 figures so we will see a total of 6 new figures for this range soon I hope!
Kind Regards Vicki

Great need to bolster them a little. Hoping to see that mule train soon. Robin.

waiting for the enemy my Legion is building a new fort in the desert

thanks...I appreciate that...

the disparity is pretty overwhelming...

along with the 6 upcoming sets...I hope the next 3-4 months that the Tauregs will dominate the lion's share on new figures...

I would really like to do some dioramas with them...

you have really developed the Legionnaires pretty well...

what we need now and for a while is an opponent...

aaaaaah ...Carlo...mi amigo...

dying to see what you come up with here...

that's a great start...love the clean straight lines and the angles cut on the merlons and crenels...

that's a difficult cut to keep straight...I know...hahaha...I have tried it before...

great start...please do a thread on it so I can watch...

thank you Guy, thank you Mike, just more a couple of pictures to show the progress, after painting I started to assemble the four parts
ciao

aaaaah Carlo...it's coming along nicely...I love it...what are the dimensions of the interior and exterior...it reminds me of the one that you did that K&C presented at the West Coaster...

AWESOME!!!

thanks again Mike,
yes it is similar to the one I did for Andy, it measures 42 cm long and 30 cm deep. This time I used a more sandy shade colouring. I'm building this Fort for a friend that next month will open a toy soldiers showroom in Rome and wishes a set up for the TG Foreign Legion. It is not too large because it must fill the shelve of a display cabinet.
I have already cut and painted some balsa strips to build the walkways along the walls.
To the next step...
Carlo

here are some pictures of the Fort final result, I made my best but my camera and my skill as photographer are not so good as some other Forum members, hoping you enjoy the same. TG FFL figures are stunning!
cheers
Carlo

Super!!! The best Foreign legion fort I have ever seen! {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

someone told me that Tommy Gunn is going to issue the Tauregs (which are painted in blue)...

into a version for their Lawrence of Arabia series...but re-paint them in a more colorful design...

can anybody confirm this??????????????

I hope it's true...I collect the TG LOA series and would love to use these figures as oppossed to the Tauregs...but will gratefully take either...

so TG...if you're listening and want to kill 2 birds with one stone...

it might be smarter to concentrate on the Arabs of LOA...as I think they are versatile enough to use as a raiding party from the Saudi penninsula...
