All the King's Men Toy Soldiers is pleased to announce the launch of our brand new War of 1812 cavalry. There are two types currently available, British 19th Light Dragoons and US Dragoons. They come 8 riders, 8 horses and 8 bases to a set, all of the same troop type. Sets are ostensibly for use with the All the King's Men wargame rules, but any rules or display shelf will do! You can see them here:

You can also see our entire AWI and War of 1812 lines there. 1812 British can just as easily be used for the Peninsula or Waterloo!
Cavalry riders and bases are metal, while the horses are plastic to make the figures lightweight. Weapon arms include sword at rest (7), sword outstretched (1 for an officer) and bugle (1). Arms and heads are separate to allow you to customize their positions. Figures come unpainted.
Of course, they're all 54mm! I'm pretty certain this is the first time 1812 US Dragoons have ever been done in this scale, at least for wargame use.
We're even running a special! Order two or more sets of these cavalry and get a single War of 1812 mounted general of your choice, American or British, for free! This offer will be available until February 14, 2010.
Individual riders and horses are available. These figures' heads and arms are also available as separate sets for $3 US.
Please let us know what you think! And keep an ear to the ground, because this is just the first of a wave of new 1812 cavalry sets coming from us.
