Looks cool, thanks for the heads up. If you haven't read it already, read the book Fly Boys by James Bradley. It is about WWII aviation in the Pacific. There is some very graphic stuff in there....Alex

I watched the trailer. Dialogue is quite insipid. Looks like a bust. If you want to see a good WWI movie, I recommend the Blue Max or one of the best movies ever made, Paths of Glory.

I have one question about this movie, but it would be politicaly incorrect to post it, because I,m afraid people would take it the wrong way. Having said that and anyone who watched the trailor, I think they would know what my question would be. I simply want to know if it would be accurate.
The movies plot could be hokey, but the air battles look pretty good.
I also read Fly Boys, good book.
And Jazzeum, "Paths of Glory is in my top 5 all time movie favorites.

This time I'm on your side, after looking at trailer I'll wait till Blockbuster gets it. Blue Max was a great WWI aviation movie. The flying was outstanding, this comes from someone learned to fly in a bi-wing aircraft with the wind in my face.

Chuck,

Although not really a World War I movie, but great flying scenes is the Great Waldo Pepper. Wonderfully acted and beautifully scened.

I was talking about the flying scenes were great. The opening scenes was good a soldier down in the mud looking up at at the clean sky with aircraft flying around.
I had forgot about The Great Waldo Pepper.:)

That is so weird I just started reading "to the last man" by Jeff Sharra And some of the characters are in the American Escadrille.:cool:Blockbuster will edit it. Best bet is netflix

The Blue Max is one of my favorites (starring George Peppard and Rache Welch). Lots of flying sequence and ground troops movement.

Hi Guys,

I really prefer the older ones with Errol Flynn and the others they were fun to watch and werent too sappy. The Blue Max was very good too. Just wich they made good flicks like that more often.
