Can any of you tell me this makers mark please
That appears to be a Herald Marking.

Yes it is.
Herald Plastics from UK, in the 50's Later incorporated into Britains. Production stopped in the mid to late 70's, as I recall.
This was a nice range of figures, although a little on the small side. Still turn up regularly on eBay. Must have been millions of them made. Real "Toy" Soldiers. Do look good en masse.
