News regarding Ron Barzso (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

I just wanted to let everyone know that Ron Barzso is in the hospital again. This is in connection with a problem he had last fall. He will have to undergo a "minor" surgery within the next day or two. He will be in the hospital for a couple of days, then resting at home. If you have outstanding orders with Ron, please be patient as he mends his health.

I spoke to Ron this morning and he seems to be in good spirits and sends his thanks for your understanding.

Gary, Ed and all - I'll be sure to pass along everyone's well wishes. Ron truly is a wonderful person (so is his wife Mary Ann). I've had the privilege to work with Ron these past couple of years and it's been an unbelievable amount of work - but even that much more fun.

I'm sure he'll be up and ready to go for OTSN.

Ron Barzso Update

I just spoke to Ron this afternoon - just as he returned home from the hospital. With medication he was able to avoid the "minor" surgery that he was originally going to have. He still has to take it easy for another week or so.. can't take any chances with your heart! But the news is good and he's in good spirits.

Hi Gary - Yes - it's great news! I know Ron really appreciates all the support and well wishes he's gotten.

And unfortunately no, I can't let anyone know what Ron will have at OTSN.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think one of the exciting things about OTSN for collectors is the anticipation about what new items there will be. I believe you may have mentioned that you enjoy that aspect of the show. And for those who can't attend - I'll be posting reports again on the Playset Magazine website - probably as early Thursday nite prior to Sunday's show.

Glad to know Ron B. is recovering without needing surgery. As hard as it is to wait for the news, I'm sure his new set (s) will be a knockout. Look forward to your early reports from the show.
