Hello guys,
I sent to John a picture of a NCO of Royal Ecossais in kilt as I was told that the regiment had permission from the king Louis XV to wear one for the jacobite campain. John was very interested in and said he already thought of a piper in kilt for the range and that the NCO would make a good figure too.
And he send two pictures: the shooters of Royal Ecossais and the gunners. The artillery figures are both for Fort Carillon and Culloden.
I asked him if we are to see new canadian militiamen and indians and this is in his mind for this year.
I try to send you the pictures.aubigny_009.jpg

Est-ce qu'est ils sont votre figures, car ils sont très beaux! Un soldat de les Ryal Eccossais avec un kilt serait très intéressant!

The NCO is a hand painted figure specially edited for a show at Aubigny sur Nere (France) for a society of historical figures collectors called "Le briquet". The trade is Nemrod.

This view is that of the gunners. I'm glad to succeed to send it. Royal Ecossais is to come next.

I add a quotation from john " working on french troops for Ticonderoga, hope a new Montcalm figure for december and figures of regiment Béran."
Here the Royal Ecossais022.JPG

I am so happy to see a new gun and crew at last!

Me too. I just hope that there are at least two more gun crew to go with it. It always looks wrong to have a gun with only two or three figures. That's probably just my taste, but a real gun takes more than four.

Nice to hear about more French.

Matthew

...merci beaucoup lamiral for posting the pictures!

I agree Matthew, more French for Ticonderoga, welcome the 'Marquis de Montcalm' ......and Indians of course.
May be the gunner with igitor can be used for the abatis swivel guns?!?!

That was the idea of John. I understand that the gun is to be sold separately and is for Culloden even if it could match for another times.

Gorgeous sculptures, French Gunners are greater than even French Crullers!!!
