The only two picks where we might disagree are Detroit and Skins. I would pick the Lions. On the Giants, because 9/11 affected both cities that factor gets negated and Giants have too many injuries on defense and losses on offense to free agency. So, it's a pick 'em for me or make the Skins a one point favorite.

Man, it's got to be terrible to be an Indy fan, knowing that the whole season might already be a washout. Manning IS that team, moreso than any other player might mean to their team. Have to pick against Indy. The Redskins-Giant game is carrying a lot of baggage on this 9/11. Not sure what or how that will influence the game but I give a small edge to the hometeam Redskins. -- Al

Brad...those were not my picks...my only pick was Houston -8 1/2 at home...the way it was written is confusing...I re-did it below......

tonight I like New England -7 and will take Denver -3...

I feel good about New England...but feel like I'm forcing Denver...
