Not the Chasseurs à cheval‎.

Napoleon's guards in the movie.......Maybe the French 11th Hussars? They are all in blue and have "overalls" and carbines with bayonets. Maybe not "authentic" but "neat!"

Saw that one with the kids. The first one was better in my view...The plot around the Egyptian king is kind of annoying, only Amelia Earhart's character adds some pep to the story. I like the paintings coming to life idea though...Good to watch on DVD on a rainy or snowy day...

My daughter and I just saw it on DVD and I noticed Napoleon's troops. Not Old Guard or Chasseurs, must have been what French Uniforms were available. They did get the carbines w/bayonets right.

Some of the "bits" were funny as the one between Ben and the fat Smithsonian guard.

We're actually watching it (saw part of it last night) and it's not too good; a little contrived. However, the paintings coming alive is interesting. Kind of reminds of an old Star Trek episode.

Well..the DVD was gift. The first one lacked something as well.

But..wouldn't it cool if the little guys came alive? It killed me to see the workmen pouring the painted miniature Cowboys and Romans into the crate!
