Just thought I would raise the subject...not that I care right now...still catching up with French Calvary...truthfully I think these calvary have caused a slow down in this series...don't get me wrong I like Calvary..but...they are tooooo expensive to buy a lot of at one time and they take toooo much room up....really what I would like to see for 2008...is more Artillery, maybe a wagon or two and some GOOD infantry with more action....WHAT I AM BEGINNING TO NOTICE IS THE FACT THAT THIS SERIES RECEIVES VERY LITTLE VARIETY COMPARED TO THE REST OF THE AREAS (ie WW2, etc). Not to mention half of the series has been retired in recent times.

Just my 2 cents worth

One more thing no new Napoleonic Club figure either..... perhaps this series is a dying breed.......
Perhaps Andy could comment on this Thread.

Well let's see..
On the French side..We have Volteguers of the line,Grenadiers of the line, Old Guard,Dragoons,Curassiers,Chassuers a'Cheval, and horese arillary.
on the Brit's side 71st foot, K.G.L.,Blackwatch,Coldstreamers, Scotts Grays, and Horse artillry.
Both Napoleon and Wellington!
Maybe some British Light Horse, some French Lancers, Heavy artillary of both sides..The Brunswickers...More Money...a small loan..win the lottery!!
A BREATHER BETWEEN RELEASES TO SVE A LITTLE CASH!!!?
Respectfully O.C.

Would you like the Duke to loan you some cash....of course you would have to serve in the Kings Army for a year...

Hi Tony

Can we play the cold, warm or boiling game with you ?

Say ... Polish Lancers

Hi Tony

Funny you should say that . . . Tony is a huge Star Wars fan . . . and he named his son Luke (I kid you not). I wonder if Jane (his wife) was willing to put up with "Luke Skywalker Neville" on a birth certificate?

Guys

Louis does not kid you not!..........i was very close to doing the 'Skywalker' bit but she said i would be living on my own with out my N**S if i had done!

Should ask Bob about his sons middle name!

Olddragon..............sorry no hot or cold here matey! all iam willing to say when your lucky like me to get into the master paint room of K&C you dont ruin your chances of getting back in there!

They are awesome and will be worth the wait.

And having a son that does not collect is one way funny! but i guess good in another otherwise he will be after all the stock! :D

Tony

With their love of Disney, I am surprised Tony and his wife did not name him "Mickey.":D

Tony can you give us a hint as to when the Naps will be released and how many batches will be released in 2008. Also when are the next AWI figures due for release, any hints as to what might be coming in that range.
regards to all:)

 "Take the Kings' shilling.." I think I will pass. At my age about all I"m good for is telling lies and napping.
The older I get the Better I was zzzzzzzzz

You must be married and collect Toy Soldiers if you have that trait.

WELLINGTON

I am not sure what all the fuss is about. All you have to do to create new Napoleonics is chnage the colors of the tunics on most of these rather generic toy soldiers and you have whole new regiments. Should be easy as pie.

If you think bringinging up your artillery will make me break ranks and form line so allowing you to release your cavalry you are mistaken sir. That may have worked with the Dutch at Waterloo but it will not work here.

Back to the title of the thread ...

Something we learned in business school a long long time ago ... never drive your customers into the arms of a competitor.

No new K&C Naps ... JJ launches War of 1812. What do fellow collectors think ?

OD

I don't collect JJ but it will interesting to see if 1812 will be successful. I wonder it will make others take notice if it is.
