Unexpected dramas have meant flitting between Wellington and our weekend house in Greytown (where the toy soldier collection is stored) this weekend. So no time to play and get some shots up on the forum.

One of the items I received in New Zealand this week was this beauty from TG. I am already thinking up a diorama for this next weekend.

Anyway just thought I would share this. She is a real cracker and I have become hooked on the TG planes.

A real beauty, Gary. That early war naval gray is the perfect color to highlight the clean lines of the Zero/Rufe. -- Al

Will be interested in what kind of diorama you can present around this baby Gary. Robin.

It gonna be a challenge that's for sure

Rufes were used on a lot of beaches. A beach terrain mat and some trees could work

I know I am a lucky boy. I have about 15 - 20 TG planes and counting...........(clearly I have lost count!)

WOW.... I take that they are all wood planes ? That's a small fortune :salute::
