I went to this show and to be honest found it pretty dire.
Poorly attended and very expensive.
Probably won't be going again...
Anyone else went and thoughts on it:(

That's a shame! A show without cheaper stuff for us peasants isn't going to produce much attention nor profit for it's producer.

I'd be curious to know if anyone else made it to this show (when was it, exactly)?

For persepctive, Angusprune had much the same to say about the London Show a while back...

Well since that post I've been to a few more London shows and have enjoyed them !.
However the Joplin show was an odd experience.
I only found out about it after a friend mentioned that he was going to it.
I don't recall seeing or reading any advance publicity......
The venue was not very well sign posted, the actual hall was difficult to find.
Once in it felt like I was trespassing into some sort of private club - when I was there there were more dealers that people through the door.
It is at show by dealers for dealers and Joe public is a minor consideration. The prices along were enough to put me off attending again but the cloistered atmosphere was the nail in the coffin as far as I am concerended:(
