Wondering who if any of our forum members will be attending I know for a fact George will along with Matt whose hosting it and I'm meet Fish which is a given. Chime in if your planning to attend and hopefully will get to meet.

Is this the only show of its type in New England?

To the best of my knowledge it's currently the only one it's kind I know of and thanks Brad for correcting the tile of this thread for me.

No problem Joe. Somehow changing the acronym to upper case wasn't working. Perhaps it's some sort of computer code. Anyway, glad I could fix it.

Let's us not forget the the show this coming Sunday in New England can we expect any lads from across the pond to join us for a preview of what I'm sure you'll see of sets and figures appearing at the London Show that you've yet to see first hand? Any one other than those mentioned earlier planning on attending. :D:D:D

Joe, Thank you for the birthday wish, I hope you find some treasures and have fun meeting some fellow Treefroggers.

I will be traveling to Galena, Illinois for a few days for a business conference. I am hoping I have time to visit U. S. Grant's home again.

Brian

Sorry for such a short report along with on photos forgot to put it in my coat jacket befor e leaving for the show. I was impressed with the layout in the shows new location and while there after a short while a nice crowd funneled in and was being well attended when I left. Didn't get to see Fish or Modwall and only got to spend time chatting with Matte and George. No new ZW Britain's made their appearance at the show which I waas looking forward to seeing up close but didn't leave the show without one.

I did make it to this one later as well and enjoyed seeing George and especially the new First Legion releases I do not have. I was sorely tempted by the stunning mounted Uxbridge that another bloke bought before I could but added some nice things I needed and found a book (Napoleon's Cavalry) I have been looking for. I have a bit more in post #8 over here. There is nothing like seeing these pieces first hand.

Thanks to Bill, the Lt and any other members who attended that I may have missed.

Matt hit a home run with this show; I thought the hotel was much nicer, the room bigger and better lit and the crowd was up as well, I had my best show in three years yesterday.

Thanks everybody and especially you Bill for your purchase; that was a nice book you picked up too, I almost "forgot to put it into your bag after you left it with me............:D

LOL, funny you should mention that since after I left I had the slightest touch of reservation about leaving with a fellow Napoleonic collector but it passed quickly....;):D

No worries, your treasure was safe with me.

Iv'e said it before, but this is the beauty of shows, you just never know what will turn up whether it be a book, some long sought after set, etc, etc, have to love the shows........

I was sculking around though the plastics bins for few hours. Good show. It's fun to look at the metal figures. Three war movies going in the outer hall and a nice Bunker Hill set up. Good location.
