Next year will see the release of the RAF's first jet fighter the Gloster Meteor. More info to follow on when its available for general release but we do have one x 1/30 scale model available now. If you fancy it as a Christmas present for yourself then drop us a line at welcome@gunnclub.co.uk before someone else does!

Priced at $550/£450 plus shipping and includes free sample of RAF005 fighter pilot figure.

The rather excellent K&C figures shown are for scale purposes only and are available from good quality toy soldier dealers around the world. The mat, fuel barrels and RAF jeep are all available via the TG website www.tomgunn.co.uk and are of our own design and making!

That's all for this year guys with regards to aircraft; there will be another newsletter mid December with some news on future releases for early part of next year. January will see the arrival of the top up winter panzer 4, the Brummbar also expected at a similar time.

Thank you for all your support and we wish you all a happy Christmas and an even better year than 2020, which hopefully will not be too difficult for most of us!

Best wishes The Gunn Team

WOW309 Albatros W.4 Seaplane

The Albatros W.4 was a single seat naval variant of the highly successful D.1 Albatros fighter. It featured an enlarged wing area and there was a greater height difference between the lower and upper wings to allow sea spray generated during take off to be dispersed without interrupting the ascent.
Early models were armed with one machine gun but this was later improved with two machine guns being fitted. A total of 118 aircraft were built during the war.

Our 1/30 scale beautifully detailed model is supplied with free mat as per the photos. Also for this model a couple of trolley's for the front floats and a wooden rear stand for the fuselage are also supplied. The figures shown are for scale purposes only and are not included.

Limited to 9 in number worldwide, this hand carved Mahogany model is priced at $525/£425 plus shipping and is available now just in time for Christmas!

Dear all welcome to our November 2020 Aircraft newsletter featuring some exciting new products. All our hand carved Mahogany aircraft take at least 180 days to manufacture plus many more hours of drying time. For this reason we only make small numbers of each model and every aircraft is a unique piece.

These two particular pieces featured today took over four years from conception to fruition, for this reason we will not be using this factory anymore and its unlikely there will be a second run of these models, so best grab these whilst you can as this is it.

For those of you who wish to spread your budget when buying our aircraft, please note we do accept stage payments where you can spread the cost over several months. If you require further details of any of the aircraft in today's newsletter, please email welcome@gunnclub.co.uk and ask for a quote.

All our aircraft now come with their own stands and can be displayed in flying mode if required.

WOW310 Hansa Brandenburg W.12

The Hansa-Brandenburg W.12 was a WW1 naval aircraft designed by Ernst Heinkel, it had a two man crew and was easily recognizable by the unusual inverted tailfin/rudder (which instead of standing up from the fuselage, hung below it) in order to give an uninterrupted field of fire for the rear gunner. A total of 181 W.12's were built and served on the Western Front, based at the Naval air bases of Ostend and Zeebrugge. The aircraft was one of the most successful German seaplane designs and had some notable successes intercepting the giant British Felixstowe flying boats, one even shot down the British airship C 27.

The W.12 had a 36.75ft wingspan and a fuselage length of 28.5ft.

Our 1/30 scale model comes in the markings of a Zeebrugge aircraft flown by Lt Urban during 1917.

This is a limited run of 9 models and are priced at $550/£450 plus shipping.

A couple of trolley's for the front floats and a rear stand are also supplied with this model. Apologies for the last picture showing the trolley/stand but we had to take this in the office studio, which is not ideal for taking large object photos. For some unknown reason the factory did not send the stands with the pre-production samples, this would have been useful as the local photographers studio was open then. Of course we are now in second lock down, no photographers studio open, these things are sent to try us!

I like that Gloster Meteor! I’ll probably wait until the general release next year, but it will definitely make a nice complement to my Thomas Gunn TA-183 and FW Flitzer models 😎

Really like the way the naval hex camo came out on the 2 seaplanes, especially the W.12. Mighty fine looking aircraft. The Meteor is nice but doesn't have 2 wings or a prop.:rolleyes2: :wink2: -- Al

I know where you are coming from, like the Meteor and have a few ME262 and Komet jets/rockets, but the piston engine aircraft are my favourite. Mainly WW2, but have 6 first world war, one of the planes i particularly like is the Henschel 123, i have the winter version but will look to pick up the camo version. I recently read a book by Peter C Smith called Combat Biplanes of World War II, great read and interesting stuff in there. I would like to see a Supermarine Walrus, Air Sea Rescue,
