Thanks John like your version as well especially the
Dog. It's the first time I've painted an animal
Other than a horse. The shading is quite experimental
For me I used to do the layered version lightening
Or darkening as required. These I have done with washes
Which seems a lot easier especially for the faces. Happy New Year.
