So I won a Corgi 1/32 Old Crow mustang last week and just received it.

The description read "near mint" and "has all its parts". Well, it's missing a lower engine panel, the stand is for a hawker model and doesn't fit properly and the fuel tanks posts are damaged so they can't be attached without gluing. The model was also really dusty.

I've sent an email to the seller and we'll see how it's resolved. What really pisses me off is that the item was photographed showing the side with the engine panel on and I doubt the panel was present when it was listed.

I haven't bought anything on eBay in a long time. I forgot that not everybody who lists describes condition and faults as openly and accurately as I do.

It's hard for me to understand why people are so greedy they rip people off even on things such toy soldiers, cars, planes, etc. When I sell something I always worry that the item I sold reaches the buyer in the condition I described.I have a code that I wouldn't do something to someone that I wouldn't want done to me.Hope you get your money back but it's always a hassle and makes you not want to deal with anyone.

I'm not sure this seller knew completely. More an act of negligence.

Lets see how he deals with this. If he does right then all is good. If not, I'll offer the user ID to anybody who wants a heads up and I'll post feedback along with a buyer dispute.

I am sorry for your trouble but other sellers do list things quite accurately from my experience. I may be just lucky but I have only had one issue and that was quickly resolved by the seller.

Open a dispute with paypal. The item was damaged and had missing parts. You will receive a refund. Slam dunk. And don't forget to blast the guy with negative feedback.

Not ready for that yet. I am trying to work it out with the seller first.

Was that the "Old Crow" posted from Eastern Europe? I was about to get that one but the postage is more than the cost of the model. I got the other Corgi Mustang instead (with mechanics and dismounted pilot)

Nope, came from a US seller. He says he's issuing a call tag. When I receive my refund, I hope it includes the original shipping as the model was clearly not listed correctly.

Still trying to get this resolved. Seller put in a call tag request but UPS arrived without a label. So I email seller and he said he would call last week. Still no UPS with a return label.

I'm trying one last time to get it resolved before I open a dispute.
