Seems they are making Oceans Eight with a female cast including Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchet,
Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter , Rianna, etc. Along lines of the original Clooney movies.
Also a remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels with Rebel Wilson coming.
Not seen it but apparently the remake of Ghostbusters with a female cast has lost 70 million.
Saw an article which suggested hard to do a female remake of an iconic movie and following Oceans or Ghostbusters certainly a hard job.
Whilst as far as female actors go the cast looks good is it enough to generate enough interest to cover costs ? Do guys avoid these kinds of movies and would it work if it was an original concept.
