Hi all,
I'll let you get creatie with what I said next when I got to the top of a small spiral staircase at the Ingolstadt military museum. There before me lay around 50000 25-30mm German flats. As it is Bavaria, most of them were Bavrian stuff. Each floor kfthe tower had 1-2 major scenes, which ranged from 200 pieces to over 10,000. I can't post pictures yet, but when I get home I will, along with pictures of the rest of the museum and my trip. One batlle was some renaisance thing, then there was Leiszig (7,000), and then some 1700s thing (10,000 maybe). The Leiptzig was maybe 60ft by 30 ft. Every figure was painted by one guy, and there was everything from French columns to fleeing villagers. The meuseum also had some great WWI art, nice model canons, and some gret German Napoleonc uniforms. They also had a boatload of Bavarian drums and flags from the 1800s (mid?). I purchase a flat of a Bavarian pontoon boat with figures, and some posters. I also got the names of the makers, and will be buying some unpainted ones in the future. The boat was only €19, and is quite nice. This place is a MUST SEE before you die! :)

I wish I could, but I all have is my iPhone. I just couldn't wait... However, if you pm me your email, I have already sent pictures to some whose adresses I do have. By the way- whoever had the beerstein collection- pm me your email and I will give you some photos I took (not tht great, as I don't know what to photo) of the military beerstein colection. So yeah- if you want pictures sooner than Wednesday, pm me. I can get 'em out tomorrow morning (at the beer festival tonight-don't worry JB, I am learning to get used to it).
