I can,t find this info anywhere. I have a CS winter tiger with #305 in green on the turret and a winter panther with #215 in red on the turret. The panther has the thrown track and has 2 dead crew. One slumped in the turret and the other on the ground. Does anyone know what they origionally sold for and did the 2 dead crew come as a seperate set?

You've got the old TCS first release Tiger and Panther. The Tiger came with 3 figures. Two in the hatches and the head figure for a driver. The Panther came with 2 figures a head figure as driver and a Panzer commander. Both retailed right around $155.

The Tiger is sold out and the Panthers are for the most part. Both show up on the secondary/ebay Market and I've seen them go for retail but often for $20-$50 less, so it just depends on how interested the buyer is for these tanks.

The two Panzer crew casualties came as a separate set prices $55 originally if I remember correctly. It is long since sold out and does not show up too often on the secondary market. You can probably get a slight premium if sold with box. When I sold mine it went for $80.

Greetings,
Useful information. I have been thinking about about these and was wondering if either of you might know a few things about these vehicles. Can you advise if all of the CS tigers are the same size? I seem to have read that the first issue tigers were smaller? Also, if you have them, which winter one is generally considered to be the best?
Thanks
Arnar

I have the old King Tiger and it is a great Tank. Comes with thrown track which is nice. Goes well with K & C figures.

The first Tiger I was a measured 1/30 scale. I have the Arnham version and it is an accurate and well made model.
The three figures that come with it are very well done. I would consider all versions on the first issue Tiger I equal in quality and comparable to the K&C Kursk and Winter Tigers.
The later issue Tiger I was 1/28 scale in an effort by Collectors Showcase to better match the scale of the larger figures produced by K&C and Thomas Gunn; which are as large as 68 MM tall. Some prefer the larger scale others the traditional 1/30 scale dimensions. I have my CS Tiger I 1/30 scale in a diorama opposed by a Figarti T 34-85 which is a 1/30 scale model too. I consider the detail of the first issue Tiger I superior to the later version. Regards
