Old Guard and Nassau Infantry has Arrived (1 Viewer)

I just received my Old Guard shipment and two Nassau figures. Matt has raised the bar again with the Old Guard. The color bearer is just awesome and the detail on the flag itself is unbelievable. I usually only get a few figures of each release, I may need more guard.
The Nassau troops are beautiful also. The green uniforms with the buff leather looks fantastic. I got a Grenadier and Voltigeur.Again, great job!

Thanks for the heads up I understand there was a small set back in the factory which held up these two releases , just involving the boxes thank God . I'm looking forward to receiving mine hopefully later this week can't wait to see the Old Guard up close its been a long journey but I'm sure they will be worth the wait. Unless your loaded which I'm not ,I think the couple at a time approach is the way to go. All the best Gebhard

Looks fantastic; any chance you could show a shot displaying the cut of the bottom of the jacket in the back? The web site poses really don't catch that detail.

Unfortunately, the two figures that I ordered, don't show the coat details in the back. When I save up for my next shipment, (Drummer and Flag Bearer.) I will take more photos. They are awesome figures though!

Mine arrived and they look Great . I must say they are like other First Legion Figures ,you really have to hold them in your hand to really appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into each figure . First Legion collectors already know this but with all do respect to those who don't own any yet and I am speaking from my love of Military Miniatures do yourself a treat and check one out . If you collect Napoleonics you cant go wrong with First Legion . Alles gute Gebhard

Hi Bill sorry I missed this one ,
With the simultaneous release of both the Nassau troops (12 figures) and the Old Guard (9 figures) I was humbugged , so I had to make a choice I bought a couple of each and also a couple of some of the earlier releases which I don't yet have enough of . Since nobody took the bate and ordered me any for Christmas I treated myself. I will pick up the rest on my next order ,that is if we don't get hit with another new release before then. Not sure if either the Nassau or the OG figure into your plans but both are superb . Alles gute Gebhard

Oh I was afraid you would say that. I am sorely tempted but those Brit Lights and rumored Scots and Heavies are holding me back at the moment. It would be nice to have them all but we must fight the battles we think we can win.
