Ed E,

As a fan of Playmobil (esp. the Western theme), it's great to see pictures of your old collection. Thanks for sharing here on Treefrog.

Here's a few of my own:

thanks for posting! As you can see from my avatar, I love playmobil. that's a photo of me with my three life sized "friends"

All,

Playmobile was for rich kids. I was poor and had shoes made of wood. When I needed a new pair, I had to cut down a tree.

Been known to use a few pieces from Playmobil in my diorama's especially from their Victorian series, houses/furniture. Thanks for posting. Robin.

Looks really good. I've seen a Playmobil fence/wall used in a French Village before but never an entire building. Saw a nice PM house repainted for a spooky Halloween mansion but never used in a WWII scene. It works!

EDIT: Just spotted the wall in your picture, nice!

Completely understand and sympathize. I stared in many toy store windows drooling at the Playmobil dioramas. Finally got a Pirate Ship one Christmas.

Did a little restoration project a few years back.

Yes often thought about that pirate ship, but settled for a Roman one. Robin.

That ship doesn't even look like PM with your 1/30 scale figures. Excellent!

I like PM's Roman and Egyptian themes.

I agree they blend in well. Robin.
