Hi, in lockdown at home with my 9yo son - who happily wants to play toy soldiers with me!

Now we've done a lot of Normandy type battles but he's asked about Kokoda so he can use my Airfix Australians (makes a lotta sense as we are Australians). I have the Marx and Airfix ones and I was wondering if anyone has pictures of them with the Oliver figures? I'm wondering if they fit with those?
I also have the TSSD ones.

Actually, as I'm about to do an order through CTS I just wondered how their set works too?

CTS japanese work very well with Marx and Airfix. You would also want to get the MPC japs if you can. And the TSSD are pretty good also. As to Oliver, those would be too large to go with Marx, Airfix, etc. They are around 58-60 mm. Not sure yet about the Mars japanese, they might work but could be a little on the smallish side.

Hey lads,I've got 600 painted plastic Japs for sale..all makes (I also have quite a few 1/35 s as well.Very nice but..1/35 ..all makes)

About 1000 Jarheads as well.(Same mix as above)

All professionally painted.

Just sold a few piles of KIA Japs(yeah,,JAPS those bastards capped my uncle in'45..Luzon..JAPS!!)

Thanks for that - just what I needed to know. I'll get the CTS Japanese with my next order. Cheaper too, than getting the Oliver ones from ATS and paying another clip to the US post office.

Do you have the MPC Japanese? They are not too hard to get on Ebay and they really have some good poses. I know some feel MPC is not a good maker but they go perfect with Marx and Airfix, maybe a little tall for Japanese but I really like them and the poses are very good. Atlantic Japanese are also not bad, but like many Atlantic sets they are a little crude. I had them but don't use them anymore as they suffer in comparison with Marx, Airfix, et al.
