I know, long time no post. But I have been making new stuff - as well making sure the bills get payed (yawn).
I've just about got the artwork sorted for 'Walkerloo Rebel Yell!' - they won't be available as pre cut toy soldiers for a while, unless some one wants to play partners or go sugar daddy, but delightful sheets of paper soldiers they will be! and the original artwork woll probably look good on somebodies wall one day...http://www.flickr.com/photos/mythself/5204021513/
I also made a revolutionary although surreal tactical decision. I have united all my paper forces into 'Une Grande Armée' and am leading them in a war with all the plastic toys that pertain to Movies and TV. I identified this adversary to be holding almost all the key tactical positions through out 'toy world' and what else can a toy soldiers army do if it's ambitions are not to be thwarted! My first piece of Propaganda is on youtube here,, please check out, as you're all aware pretend war has to be fun!
I do actually maintain a blog which will be keeping pace with all operations...
Unfortunately I've got to transform myself into Christopher Worker for the rest of the month but that will free me up as Christopher Walkerloo and more picture making in January and February - Rebel Yell and Prussian Landwehr are the first only list. And take note... pound for pound pictures on paper and canvas can easily out value stuff made from metal and plastic... given the correct cultural context - art? banking? toy soldiers? - and certain fluctuations!
Merry Christmas to every body at Treefrogs!
