Hi Guys,
It was great to see our friend Guy’s recent ‘DUNKIRK’ diorama as I am always a fan of his work!
That inspired me to look back at one of Gordon’s smaller dios of retreating British troops making their weary way back to Dunkirk by using some smaller backroads instead of the main roads which were ‘clogged’ by refugees and subjected to frequent bombing and straffing by marauding German bombers and fighters.
The ‘Fields of Battle’ Tommies are among my own personal favourites of K&C’s many WW2 series.
