I am amazed at how time flies.

In exactly one month (September 17th), I will begin my journey westward from Massachusetts towards Chicago with a fully loaded van of goodies.

I plan on getting to the hotel early Tuesday afternoon and be ready to begin the show by 10:00am on Wednesday. I will have three rooms loaded with displyas, dioramas and most importantly, toy soldiers.

I really cannot wait.............

I'll be arriving Wednesday morning. I can't wait to get into Andy's room and see the new stuff in person! That being said, the best part of the show for me is getting to see you George, and Andy, Gordon, Rick Wang, Steven Chong, the Nevilles, Pete, Shannon, Matt Murphy, Pam Brunton, Craig McClean, Bob Fisher and the rest of the folks I only get to see a couple of times a year.

I'll be arriving Thursday so please don't buy up all the retired stuff before I get there  That being said, the best part of a show like this will be getting together with people you rarely see like Andy, Hans, Tony and Bob, the Reusses (although we talk weekly), Warbuff, and people from the Forum like Gary and Leadmen. I'm also looking forward to meeting Pat.

You just have to arrive earlier next time :D ... I am arriving very early Wednesday morning but I do have some gifts for you.;)

Does anyone besides myself actually get nervous starting around this time that something unexpected will pop up and cause you to miss OTSN?
Looking forward to seeing everyone which is one of the great highlites of the show.

Steven, I wish I could but I'm looking forward to seeing you. It's been two years. Who said beware of a lawyer bearing gifts? :)

I'm deathly afraid of that. I'm working on a deal for us that allegedly will close in early October. However, I've put in for the days and let them know ahead of time. I'm keeping the proverbial fingers crossed.

Am looking forward to seeing Brad,Louis and all our other US Friends on the tv!! Oh,and also the British Paras!!!:D

I wish Ron.But i will be glued to my PC instead.

A la Gloria Swanson in Sunset Boulevard, I'll be telling Bob, "I'm ready for my closeup now Mr. Neville.";)

I can't wait. Nancy and I will be there Wednesday afternoon. Don't miss it guys, I have a feeling this might be the best show yet.

Treefrog is arriving on Wednesday night with a few new tricks up our sleeves...

This will be my first OTSN - we are planning on arriving Thursday PM and will stay into Sunday. My wife will be accompanying, she is just looking forward to relaxing (and holding the checkbook while I shop).

Yea - I know what you mean. The Wedding killed that Chicago trip and we are going to New Mexico around the same time - so that also sank the boat as well :(

But, in marriage there is compromise right? So, I think London in Dec. will be a good possibility :) - I think I can turn a part of the trip into business. :D

The Neville (and Dispatch Dave) clan get in on Wednesday as well!

Whats cool we have a show this weekend and after that we have to plan the shipment for the Crimean to head out to the show! The shipment has to leave on the 11th!

Really looking forward to it and there will be TWO cameras there for K&C UK TV so anybody Globally who cannot make the show we will be trying to cover as many angles as possible.

Bob will be interviewing Andy about the Brit Paras! so thats for you Rob!
We will of course be covering the rest of K&C and of course with our non K&C hat on we will be filming the show trying to cover the feel, atmosphere and general what happens. We have hand held lollpoop mics, lapel mics and new tripods........so bring it ooooooonnnnnn.

Cannot wait

Anyone
Are there any toy soldier shows held in London during January? I'm half-planning a trip to the UK and could possibly fit in a day in our wonderful capital city.

PS. to Tony Neville
I understand the planned release of Crimean War Set 2 is scheduled for December. Is this release date still on course?

So much of this show is about the room trading that in a sense the show on Sunday almost becomes a non-event. For example, in 2005 (when I was there), Gary had already spent all his money and he left before the actual show. I found very little at the actual show and my purchases were made during the room trading. Hopefully, Bob will cover the room trading and the days leading up to it in some detail.
