Excellent set of figures and nice arrangements Johno. That is quite a collection you have put together in just one year. Please post more pictures as you can.

We are/were all guilty of that I'm sure :D Anyway, nice collection you have. I also collect Napoleonics but just K&C, I see you have the SL Nappy and tent set (I was lucky to get this for my birthday last year) you've done well in only a year.

thank you the connoisseur was a very nice suprise from the wife for christmas, the good thing about being a collector is now everyone knows what to buy you (with a few little hints along the way ;) ) instead of socks and after shave :)

Hello Johno

I hope its not too late to extend to you a warm welcome to the forum ... a fellow Napoleonic collector, on top of that :) . You have amassed a pretty impressive army within a year, and I like your display style.

As an aside, can you tell what "make of cuirassiers" that you have got attacking the Blackwatch square in the topmost photo.
They dont look like K&C ... but look very compatible to the K&C figs.

Thank you for sharing & hope to see more of your collection.

OD

Welcome aboard! You've accumulated quite a nice collection in a relatively short time.

Napoleon Welcomes You !

Always good to have another NAPOLEONIC COLLECTOR on the forum ! :D :D :D

The Delprado ranges look good on mass and you can't beat them for the money, did you get them each week from the newsagents?

no has iv'e only been collecting for a year they had long been finished in the news agents, most where bougth on ebay and some by swapping doubles with other collectors but for price they do look really well as a collection or as you can see from some of my pictures mixed with king & country

It looks like you have a real fine collection there - outstanding ! :D

Appreciate your kind remarks - Collecting Napoleonic is real fun and quite interesting figures - completely different than those boring WWII guy

I'm spotting a lot of cavalry on a small, tiny glass base. I'm using glass bases of 6 mm thickness and I'm always afraid that one of these days my collection is jumping without parachute on a lower level! Does anyone know how many kilo a glass of 6 mm (45 cm x 20 cm) can take?

The Del Prado Napoleonic are really good..i pick a few sometime , and for the price (8euros) i think they made a great addition to my collection..also the Firemen (always by Del Prado) are good , they are sculpted too by K&C and for the painting some are better than K&C..:)

the thing i like most about the del prado range is they blend in with the k & c range at a fraction of the price, but they look well as a whole collection.
