Wellington, no, I'm not a member (yet). Were you at the show?
Pat, it was a great show. They're working to expand it every year. It was a little bigger than last year, they had some very nice displays set up in a second building. Osprey Publishing was there selling new books that hadn't even come out yet. K&C finally had a presence at the show thanks to the guys from Toysoldiersclub.com (W. Britains is normally the dominant brand).
Of course Serge had the best booth there as always. He had 3(!) Figarti camo V2s for sale, in addition to the one I had preordered (along with the last V1 crew set I needed). He also brought his whole Monarch samurai collection which I enjoyed browsing and picking out sets from.
A pleasant surprise was a vendor selling East of India samurai.
The biggest disappointment was that the vendor selling off his old Toy Army Workshop WW1 pieces wasn't there this year. Was looking forward to seeing what he had left.
Sorry, I was too busy to go around taking pictures. As it was I arrived 15 minutes after it opened (10 am) and stayed to 15 minutes after it had officially close (4 pm) with no time for a good lunch, only snacks. Since it takes about an hour and a half to get there from where I live I have to make the most of my time. The lighting in the vendor's building isn't very good in any event.
