Hi there! For those of you that had a chance to see the ONWTC diorama at the OTSN show, we will be bringing it to the NJ show with an addition. This has been a work in progress for a while now.
For those of you that did not see this, it was shown as a 4' X 4' scenic with custom built and highly modified structures that I had patterned for Conte Collectibles when I worked for them. The Church I built for Conte was extended to be almost twice the original size and the interior was detailed. The new addition will add a 4' X 3' section and will include more structures and part of a Norman farm. We hope to bring an even larger version next year to OTSN with several new buildings that will be available in strictly limited numbers from ONWTC... Hope to see some of you in NJ! Ken

If you have them on a website you can reference them or upload them if they are 39k or less.

I looked at MTSC didnt see anything? So I guess you still have them? You can e-mail them to one of us ?

In any event I also hit the ONWTC. Looking at the upcomming releases. This is a fine idea Ken. Knowing that more is comming around the corner makes what you have now even more valuable.

Actually after seeing Alexdakar paint ( other board) I may just buy the casts from now on and beg for him to paint for me?:D

Thanks!

we will get them up on the ONTC site by Friday.

Well they are up and they are awesome. Best diorama yet! You guys are really piecing it together. How long has ONWTC been around? Because if this is how fast and far you advance in a year, I cant wait to see whats completed in the next five? A major player for sure!:D

What's next? Our ACW Union Artillery Set will be out sometime in January. And...We are working on buildings for an all new diorama. Ones that will be available to collectors. What do you guys want? We are thinking of a store front and a new and improved church and some other pieces. More scenics in the works and a vehicle or two for WWII. Stay tuned........

Images of our World War II Normandy Village diorama are now posted. The entire diorama was done by Ken Osen. It is on display in the center of Michigan Toy Soldier. You can view it at http://www.oldnwtc.com

You won't have to wait five years. Check our site for next year!

What I would love to see are a couple of things. For Normandy some row houses over shops. (youre store front I guess?) Two attached. These would make a great addition to any street front. Maybe some sort of small hotel?

What would probably take you guys all the way to the bank is a modular system. Take city ruins for instance. Have a base with debre and side walks. Then provide other pieces that can be erected to build as you like. Sell kits. So that an individual could buy say five piece set or ten. They could make full buildings, facades, walls what ever they choose. Couldnt be too hard ? Plus it would work out for numerous set ups. As big as you want to go with twenty buildings or a small diorama just one building?
