Hi Guys,

We showed one figure from this set last year and I'm really pleased that the whole set is now ready for release.

The indian Border Force carry out a range of roles from armed protection of the States border to ceremonial duties, noticeably at the Wagah border crossing into Pakistan and recently at the Petrapole crossing into Bangladesh.

At the Wagah crossing, the gates between India and Pakistan are ceremoniously opened in the morning and closed at night. It attracts thousands of spectators from both sides as the Indian Border Force and their counterparts, the PAK Rangers, strut up and down, goose step at great speed, stamp their feet, puff their chests and generally try to out pomp and out perform each other. Its well worth a look on you-tube if you've not seen it before.

Anyway, enough of the typing on to the figures.

The set consists of 1 Sgt, 4 Privates at attention and 2 Privates Goosing or Stamping. 1/32 scale

PAK Rangers are being worked on along with some more Indian Border Force.

The set is limited to just 25 copies and will be available via our store tomorrow.

Cost in the UK / EU is £175 and if you're outside of the EU the cost is £145.88. Can also be ordered in Matte.

If you'd like more details please drop me a PM or email us via our site.

Cheers

Adam

Congratulations to Open Fire Figures for producing these very interesting and unique miniatures of the Wagah border closing ceremony (which involves the "lowering of the flags of both India and Pakistan). This ceremony takes place before sunset everyday at the border crossing point between the two countries. The participating units are the Indian Border Security Force and the Pakistan Rangers. Here is a picture of two guards, one from the IBSF and the other from the Pakistan Rangers, executing the high stomp halt.

Raymond.

Spot on :)

We went for slightly different uniforms (long sleeved shirts and khaki trousers)
